Resto Ring Problems

Im in between 2 rings for my resto druid, they are very close and I dont know which to pick...

So, which would you choose? Please back up your choice with why you chose =p

Wtih the Seal you gain (251 + 20 + 10) - (256) = 25 intellect and lose (183 + 150) - (FLOOR(.4 * 162) + 176 + 20) = 73 useful secondary stats

Using my spreadsheet (link in sig), secondary stats are worth ~.4 IEP, so 73 secondary stats is worth ~29 intellect, so I'd stick with the Band.

But a lot of the secondary stat that i lose would be crit which is kinda shitty =p

Crit 'shittiness' is already taken into account, you don't have to double-account for that.

I would stick to the Crystal Prison Band. What gets me wondering though, why as a druid are you stacking so much spirit? Stacking mastery and other output stats is far more beneficial then stacking spirit. Druids hardly ever have mana issues and even then, most of you regen is Intellect/Manapool based. I have to say I've stopped raiding on my druid a while ago, but still did 8/8 normal 25 and did some Morchok 25 heroic, all with less then 1400 spirit and never had issues. In Firelands (10) heroic I even did bosses with around 950 spirit (including Bethilac and Ragnaros heroic). That for backing up my choice for the ring without spirit.

What you describe from FL was only possible with strong regen trinkets (SoW/Jaws). Also, the fights in 10man FL heroic were not mana-intensive. You would be surprised how much more intense the DS heroic encounters are, mana-wise. Morchok is an exception.

That being said, over 3000 spirit plus HoU really is way over the top. With HoU, OP should try to reforge down to about 2k and invest the rest in mastery. Also, if you have Jaws, it's much better than lfr HoU.
