    Please make the hunter 2pc T13 effect baseline in the next expansion

    Dear Blizzard guys, I like the double focus reg effect of 2pc T13 a lot... playing with it feels so much smoother.

    Please make the effect baseline in the next expansion. Maybe reduce the overall hunter damage a bit if it somehow gets overpowered, but for the love of god - please let us keep the higher focus reg. Especially PVP feels so clumsy without 2pc right now.

    I'd prefer it was the other way around - nerf the crap out of SS/CS focus gain and increase our baseline focus regeneration a lot.

    I actually kind of suspect this set bonus is a test to see whether it's something they should do.

    What this guy said. A lot of the two pieces for all the classes are tests to see how they are and may be implemented permanently next expansion. ie tanking two piece for each class.

    I would think the positive feedback they got from it would make them want to keep it, but nerf it a little bit. Maybe down to 15 or 16 focus per shot. It makes my rotation feel more natural, no so strained and focus-starved, I love it!

    Make it baseline for Survival imo, it's -too- much focus for MM and BM however.

    dont feel like its needed for pve, would love it if they'd exchange it with the current pvp +focus regen bonus (maybe a little bit weeker)

    i'd hate that, that would feel like playing rogue or feral and both of those playstyles are totally boring...i just wanna push them buttons

    They can go half way, bake it into the pvp 4p, (if it was 2p people would take it for pve) instead of the crappy 5% focus regen.
    Since, in pve, focus generation isn't bad with all the haste, in pvp however, no haste = focus starvation.

    im thinking it is sort of a test too for MOP. By the by no more ISS for MM in MOP, does that mean Marks will use cobra for now on? We all know cobra> ss. But then chimera still remains the same, refresh ss, which seems kinda redundant if MM will be using Cobra in MOP.

    But again no ISS in MOP- rejoice!

    Really it's too much Focus generated for MM and BM. It turned what was a fluid spec in BM into what feels like random button mashing.

    I think dropping the Focus generated down to about 12 would be a better number. 8 actually worked perfectly for MM and BM, but 16 is just overflowing and only seems to work for Survival.

    the only reason marksman is swimming in too much focus is because of the 2x steady shot to maintain iss which is being removed in mists, as i have said about this in another thread, blizz need to look seriously close at the way this bonus is going to work in mists, pvp hunters already 'HAVE' to use the t13 2p for the focus bonus so they are going to need to inflate the stats on mists gear by loads to make the 2 pieces that we equip make a dps loss over the extra focus we get from the bonus to stop hunters from using 2 t13 in tier 14.

    And as i said in previous posts i think that they will make the bonus baseline come mists (crossing fingers for it anyway)

    Let's hope they remove Invigoration then if they go that route. Beast Mastery's Focus generation is entirely over the top, and not in a good way, with both effects, while making Haste and subsequently Focus Fire absolute shit. There comes a point when too much resource can be a bad thing. Sure, the DPS is there but it plays like garbage.

    Haha, it's going to tough to go back to playing without it.

    Still, expansions are when they tweak classes up. I approve of the change they made for Cata (which made us feel distinct from say, a lock or a mage) so maybe they can improve on it.

    I'm hoping they do keep this change. It feels a lot nicer in PVP especially, way better than the pvp 4 pc of 5% focus regen.

    In addition they need to put our mortal strike effect on chimera , and remove steady shot from the game.

    I would do it differently.
    Remove the focus generating part of CoS/SS, so make it cost 0 Focus, but shift the regeneration to the baseline reg.
    I know this makes our Focus just like rouges energy, but with a focus neutral filler.
    but it would be much more practical, because if we haven't got a target to shoot at, our focus reg is totally gimped, which is a major issue in PvP, and also a minor issue in PvE.

    Its of course much more fun to play with the increased focus gen with t13 2p, especially as survival. that could of course be achieved by increasing the base regen even further. (we don't want every tier to have one of the bonuses to be: "increases focus gain from SS/CoS by 9 focus" do we)

    to do: get rid of t13 2p bonus, eliminate focus gain from SS/CoS, buff passiv focus reg by a factor 2-3 (so that its similar to now with 2p) => fixed.
