DPS Help, Ultraxion HM

Hey there,

as the titel says I need your help !! yesterday we've been trying on Ultraxion HM. Usually im the top damage dealer in my guild but somehow this fight isn't
working for me, and I have no clue what i'm doing wrong

I can't really give you any tips from the log since i don't speak German and i have no idea how to switch it to English, but my general tip is to be proactive/aggressive. Most times when i see myself falling lower on the dps list it will most likely be because i'm not being aggressive enough. You have the gear, and to me it looks fine.

So i would just repeat the usual:
Prepot
Orb on CD
Pot next BL/Heroism
Combust at first big ignite after its off CD, so you can use it as many times as possible.

I'm sure someone more capable than me will go more in-depth here, but these things are the most common things.

OT:
Looking at wipe #20 that lasted 5:15, Living Bomb uptime is pretty low. I'd aim for something around 90-95%. Combustion damage is on par with what I would expect.

It looks like you might just be losing a lot of damage by hitting heroic will too early or hitting it mid-cast and losing damage that way. This basically comes down to getting a very good feel for timing on this fight. If you can, finish your last fireball during his Hour of Twilight cast, then hit heroic will. Otherwise, finish your fireball early, then throw some instant spells before hitting the button. This is a great time to use flame orb or images, even fire blast if you can work it in.

@Kurzior, you cant really have a living bomb uptime on that boss at 90-50% unless you actually are doing something wrong or are not getting any crits at all.

Since you will have to exit the Twillight Realm often combined with casting HS>LB your uptime should be somewhere around 85% and the OP is at around 83%, so that is fairly fine.

At the try Kurzior links your critting seems to be very low though (of fireball) - All the way down to 36%. This can be the cause of unfavorable RNG, but it will really gimp your dps to be this unlucky.

Looking at try 9, you in total cast 100 fireballs in the course of a 5 minutes and 8 seconds fight. Comparing that to one of my own logs that only lasted 4 minutes and 42 seconds i did cast 109 fire balls, makes me wonder if you are even firering enough fireballs out. Try to see personally that you always push out one extra spell.

Another "free dps" macro i can give to you is this:

/cast Fire Blast
/click ExtraActionButton1

Use this for your ExtraActionButton1 and you will always cast an extra Fire Blast when exiting Twillight Realm . (Watch the macro on other fights like Madness though).

that makro is for sure a little dps increase i try it out later. normally i just try to get a FB in hours of twilight, for 90% success. thx anyway
