    If you got permanentely banned...

Would you buy Wow, TBC, Wrath and Cata again to start over or would you just quit wow? Why?

Mod Edit: I've warned twice within this thread but since it apparently wasn't visible enough, I'm adding a warning here. Do not post solely to troll/flame/attack the OP. Post constructively. I don't care about the OP's post history. This is a valid topic and all future replies that do not deal with the topic at hand and attempt to derail the thread instead will be infracted.

Before that can be answered, why did you get a perma ban?

Initially i would investigate why i was banned, and if it is irreversible i think i would simply just quit World of Warcraft and take it as a sign.

All in all, it is just a game, though a game that is quite time consuming.

If it was a shell of an account, with just the basics [i.e. - Characters I didn't spend much time on]... maybe.

But if it were an account I spent YEARS on, and a lot of effort into my character(s)... then I wouldn't. I'd be checking out for a reason why it was banned in the first place, and appeal for it. Then again, if you were on such an account - why would you risk getting banned on it in the first place, e.g. - Cheating/Botting ? If this were the case that you WERE doing such things, then it's your own bloody fault and you have zero rights to cry out that you got banned for it, and bashing the company for your own stupidity.

is it even possible to get permanent banned?

anyways, if I got perma banned like, right now, then I would just buy all the games again for like no money, they got it on offer atm online xD . but then again, if the offer wasn't up, I would just go to my usual game pusher and buy it there, wouldn't cost much seeing vanilla wow, tbc and wrath only costs like 50 DKR a pop ( that's what, just under 10$ a game ) which is quite affordable

Heavily depends on price. If I could get WoW and all the current expansions for 40-50 euros, I'd come back for MoP.

If it's more expensive than that, it ain't worth it. I'd quit permanently and just stick with other games.

Basically I'm trying to find out if you guys think wow is worth the same amount of money it once was. Would you buy it again in it's current state or do you only continue to play because of everything you have invested in it already? So if your account vanished would you still continue you play?

I'd just go play SWTOR or GW2, like I'd already planned. Wasn't planning on playing 6 more months of this drivel in the first place!

    No.

I would just hang out on new games.

Like right now, having fun in the bandwagon

    definitelly not worth it.

I mean, not worth the price, but worth the time I had to invest to get where I was
    Dear developers,

please nerf Rock, it's too overpowered. Paper is fine, however.

I doubt I would start over, this sweetie here, I love too much and I'll never be able to get everything I have on it right now, so no point.
Edit: not to mention it is quite pricey to get everything at once.

I play because I enjoy improving my character. If i was permantly banned, I wouldn't start again. I don't like doing the same thing twice.

No way! It would be the end of WoW for me.

Right now I'm more attached to my character's lore and achievements than to the game itself. I'm a bloody icon in-game, people see me and go "weren't you...?" and I go "Yes." Planning to quit before the next expansion anyway, it's why I swear at and /spit on everything that pisses me off, since I couldn't care less whether they banned me now or not.

Aaand there we go, the cat's out of the bag. Just another thread started on one's never-ending quest to figure out how on earth people can enjoy a game you don't.

Regardless of you making a point or not dude, why you try and hang around like this is just baffling. Do something else with your time. No matter how well thought out your posts may appear at first glance, it all boils down to you standing on a soapbox shouting "STOP ENJOYING THINGS!" from the top of your lungs.

nope. too much money, too little reward for me. i got where i am now by spacing out xpac costs, etc. all at once? not a chance
