Secrets of Silvermoon: Reloaded

This is not yet a Sign-up, but more me propositioning to reboot the Secrets of Silvermoon Quest-RP we had a while back. This time I have an adjusted/expanded storyline and a more straight forward approach to the Quest RP Idea. The opening plot basically stays the same as in the original approach, but the progression of the Story will be different this time around. First of all for those who weren't around for the original RP, the plot (edited slightly already):

With the resotration of the sunwell a fragile peace was brought to the city of Silvermoon. But the different factions within the blood elfs still sheme against each other, struggling for influence. With the royal line extinct, the spotless outer appearence of the Blood elf capital still reaks of intrigue, and an omnipresent lust for power.
After the defeat of the Lich King, and the Aspect of Death, The Sin'dorei thought they might find rest. But a new competitor for the reign over the dark alleys of Silvermoon has appeared and taken over most of the shady business. With this cult’s influence rising Lord Regent Lor'themar Theron fears for the Bloodelves position and strength within the Horde. He has sent a group of brave adventurers to investigate the cult that is murdering and intriguing it’s way through Silvermoon’s nobility, to hopefully stop them before all of Silvermoon is theirs.

I also have expanded on the rules and objectives:

There will be multiple reappearing NPCs, played by me, whom you will be able to earn a standing with. This might hinder or help your progress towards uncovering the Secret Cult. You will have to decide the proper cause of action quite frequently and the story will advance in different directions depending on your decisions. There may be decisions that injure your character, and prevent him or her from participating for a certain amount of time. You are however still free to act like however you feel. There will even be a reward if the group manages to stop the Cult once and for all.

Characters that would be allowed to join this RP are Horde or Neutral aligned Characters, that are a Horde race. I would be willing to admit neutral/exotic races, if you can provide a proper incentive for the character. However all characters must be mortal; superhuman characters are forbidden. (No Dragons, demons etc.)

Now that you know the facts, the question to ask is: Who would be interested?

This sounds excellent. Would be a great first RP for Aland to join in as a Forsaken. I'll be updating his Bio shortly, just working on hammering out the details in mine and syn's RP.

That was part of the reason this is not a sign up yet. You will have enough time to write up a Horde character.

You know what the best part about being a Fury Warrior is? Cleaving you enemies from head to toe... In one swing. The worst?... Tight spaces. In either case, can't wait for this RP (fight scenes, rawr!)!

And Madgod, Salarissian is looking forward to cleaving the evils from his homeland alongside Archi and Morzath.

Hmm, would be interesting for Alice, as long as the RP she's currently in ends before this one... It would be weird simultaneously Rping the same character in two situations =)

So. Necroing this thread beacause I completed the whole plot for this reboot quite some time ago, but as you know from my absences post I rarely have the time to post properly. The thing is, I really want to see this new version of the Roleplay done. So from my point of view there are basically two ways to finally launch this RP. The first alternative would be to wait for my next vacation to start, which would not be before late September most likely. But as the vacation won't be long enough to see the whole thing through, there would be another alternative.

Since this RP is designed for no more than 5 players, it would be possible to run this RP on a shedule. This hasn't been done before here afaik, but why shouldn't we be ably to run a RP like a raid? Find 2-3 hours a week where everyone has time on their hands to rp while all of us are present. That way the Rp would progress in a faster pace when it does, albeit have bigger breaks inbetween.

That's basically the Idea. The Timeframe would be later evening CEST, if we want to try the sheduled RP. So what is your guys take on this idea?

I'd like to try it. My tests are over this Wednesday, and from there on out I really have nothing to do during the day, other than my job and watching my little brother while my parents are at school.work. I'm in EST though, so it'd probably be around... Noon-ish here?
