    I still dislike that Grenades and Bombs are the only unarmed kit. If only there was some kind of... golem kit or something...

    That idea, just... AMAZING! My Asura would love that <3 (though it might be strange with a charr running around with a golem kit)

    I obviously know that... Asuran technology is for Asura only... (Why shall we spoil our secrets!?) :P

    But a steampowered golem... interesting idea nonetheless

    They do have the steampunk looking dredge golems. Those would be awesome to have as a pet/kit.

    I'm still not sure what to play.

    Although I've been enjoying Warrior, I can't live with the aesthetics of heavy armor, I much prefer leather.
    I hate pet classes, so that leaves Thief and Engineer.

    I played a bit of Thief, and while a lot of fun in parts, I felt it has a design issue in that it's not worth using initiative on anything other than your best ability, which means your playstyle isn't very dynamic.

    So that pretty much puts me back at Engineer

    Yeah, if your Engineer is an Asura. Otherwise not so much, then again, you're doing it wrong if you aren't an Asura.

    It's a shame grenades don't do a blast combo finisher, because Asura could of put down their Radiation Field and thrown grenades at it to give out area weakness.

    Turns out the grenade kit is really fun
    It will only be better at higher levels when traited for more ranged and grenades too.

    Only downside is the constant ground targeting makes camera control tricky.

    Yeah, I find the Grenade Kit a little awkward to use as well. I loved the Bomb Kit though, hilarious kiting things with it.

    Since they've reduced the bleed duration on pistol 1#, yesterday I found myself doing a much better job at single target conditioning with the Elixir gun instead, keeping the pistol/shield mostly for the blind and shield control. Elixir U is also fun, great for stacking conditions as well. But I really find the Elixir gun to be in a good place right now, which is great. Auto attack wasn't working though.

    Grenades are fun and a bit tricky to use yeah, and I can totally see a proper grenade build working perfectly fine for sPvP.

    It also looks like they cut teh bomb radius in half. Thats a kick in the teeth, goodluck actually hitting anyone with that. And once again, a kit needs massive traiting to be remotely usefull.

    My suggestion to increase the fun factor and decrease the awkwardness of the grenade kit would be to make the 1-slot (only) be a pathed projectile to the target. So you could keep your grenades coming while you positioned the camera to drop your bleed/poison/chill/blind ones.

    I am in the same boat, really enjoyed playing a few of the other classes but at the end of the day I am always drawn to the aesthetics and the overall fun of the Engineer. It is also good to see that they fixed the shield bugs in the last stress test.
