Long story short, I'm a flash git and have an Eyefinity setup. Bezel correction included, I play the game at 6028x1080, across 3 monitors. The game works like a charm, however the default interface is all over the place, because most of it is anchored to the left/right of the screen.
Using the mod MoveAnything, I have managed to move (most) things into sensible places into the middle monitor by offsetting the X value of the particular item in question. However, I need to do this for EVERY individual item that I happen to come across that ends up in the wrong place. I was wondering if there was any easier way of just saying "clamp everything to within a certain range". (In my case, that range would be 2054-3974 on the X-axis) I'm not averse to giving the creation of my own little mod that could do this a go, if that's how you think it might best be achieved.
Are there any other useful/helpful mods out there specifically targeted at ultra-wide resolutions? A bit of a vague question I know, but figured i'd see what was out there...
I think your best bet would be to try different custom UIs that you can find on WoWinterface, etc, and see if any actually do this. If they do, and you like them, well there you go! If not, you can always figure out how they did this.
Alternatively, you could attempt at creating your own UI with multiple addons like Pitbull or Stuf and Dominos, etc. They allow you to set default positions for everything in game.
If you wanted to play with default UI, though, I think MoveAnything would be your best bet outside of creating your own. If I recall, you can permanently move MoveAnything windows to that spot and save it, can't you?
