Hey guys, we finally got around to uploading our HD video. I know a lot of 10mans are working on this so thought it would help.

We 2-tanked, 2-healed, though the feral Druid was cat for a lot of the fight. We saved hero for the 10%-->0% burn. We waited to burn until the 2nd set of terrors was dead.

Let me know if you have any questions! A lot the consistency of the fight in 10m comes down to precise planning of cd usage.

Very impressive with only 2 nights a week. We do 3 nights a week usually around 8-9 hours and are sitting at 5/8 HM and will hopefully see Warmaster die this week.

Thanks! Keep at it, you'll get him. Bighest thing that helped us with that was having tanks soak the small swirls.

Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions. More than any other fight (on 10m anyway), it really requires precise cooldown planning for the whole fight. And not just tank cds but healer/dps ones as well.

I noted in your video that on the third platform you used hand of sac/spirit link on the first impale there, with only dp on yourself. Were those the only two cds you used, or did you have something else up on the tank/others that I did not notice?

Oh, and your raid frames, they were gorgeous, could you perhaps show your settings for it? I have literally no idea what add on that even is, and how you get them to start as dark, I have been fiddling with mine but cannot get it quite that good.

We only used spirit link, hand of sacrifice (with divine protection), and tank minor cooldown on that platform. We did this to keep the moving instead of waiting on the tanks long cooldowns. It is possible to do hand of sacrifice (with divine protection) with a tank minor cooldown on the second platform and not need spirit link because of the health increase. This means if your tanks shield wall is on cooldown you can utilize a minor cd + hand of sac (with divine protection) on that platform, but I would highly recommend just ensuring that your tanks big cooldown is up. As a pally you need to be sure that you are topped off and having hpally mastery bubble or power word shield is recommended. It is not likely that its going to kill you but its good to keep you from going below 30% and getting hit by a melee attack. I know this is a little bit more than you asked but figured it could help. As far as the UI I agree it is really nice for healing and maybe I can steal his wtf file =P

On the 3rd platform for the first impale I just used DS unglyphed plus we had spirit link. I generally keep a mastery shield up on tank and me for it as well to help with the damage. I didn't do the DS glyph because you need the physical damage reduction for shrapnel on p4 because dream isn't enough. Only other times I used sac were for first parasite to reduce the risk of tentacle lash plus parasite tick kill before they get to the bubble.

As for my UI I use Healbot, Bartender, Magictargets, Decursive, Cooldowncount, Recount, and DBM. Did you want to see my healbot settings?

I would really like to see your healbot settings, as I have never seen anything quite like that. I am using a pre-built ui as of right now, that I modified quite a bit, but my raid frames are nowhere near the awesomeness of yours! I have not used healbot since sunwell plateau days, I might have to check it out again!

Your video helped me quite a bit on madness heroic this week, I believe we will kill it this sunday (Our next raid day) have gotten it to 4% a couple times now. We are doing one tank, three healers, but it does not really seem that different in the long run either way.

In our public forum we like also have 2 guides currently an awesome arms warrior guide done by xenok and my retribution paladin guide. I am going to look into doing text based guides for all of our fights I just need to get information from people to see what they do.

At 3m30, you say something like: "don't pop dream on the last platform". You'r talking about the Ysera button, right? Why wouldn't we want to pop it as much as we can?

Also, any trick to avoid dying when jumping between the platforms? It keeps happening to some of our players and we don't know if it's because they do something wrong. I know it's been a known bug for a while, but maybe we can somehow avoid it.

There are two reasons.

One if the timer is close you might not have it up for shrapnel, and not having dream up for a shrapnel cast means death unless you have some major CDs running.

Second reason is there is a bug with the encounter. When Deathwing reaches ~16%/11%/6% his corrupted bar shoots up which causes the increase in AoE damage. Damaging him lower (to roughly 15%/10%/5%) causes Alex to cauterize Deathwing causing his corrupted blood to diminish, resulting in less AoE. The AoE never goes down to a previous 5% interval but it does stabilize.

Okay so knowing the above here is why you don't use dream. Currently there is a bug where if members use dream at a 5% interval Alex might not cauterize correctly and the increased AoE damage will persist way longer than it should. This is fairly devastating for guilds who two heal the encounter. It's hard enough for people three healing it, but would make healing impossible in the earlier stages of P2.

Therefore currently the correct way to do P2 is to only use dream if you're targeted for shrapnel, a tank as a CD for the terrors, or when the boss reaches 5% (because you aren't going to live for prolonged periods of sub 5% anyways).

Dream just causes some really buggy behavior with the encounter. We were doing the normal mode encounter on our alts and because of people falling through the world going to the blue platform we had a less than 'ideal' p2. Upon reaching 5% with only 6 people alive and a couple people dying off.. people popped dream and the boss just despawned.
