I watch all the cut scenes. Such a better way to quest and you get much more involved.

Now that I'm hitting end game and running dailies. Dailie are the only ones I do not watch anymore. Say them the first couple of times but I do skip the daily quest scenes now.

I'll watch everything at least once or twice, if I'm changing up the dialogue on a new character I'll listen to MY character and the responses. However if it's something I've heard before I'll give it a quick read (I use subtitles) and then I'll skip it. I do love some of the FP stuff though, the new FP is one I LOVE to watch

I love them. Make me feel more connected with the character I'm playing and I have to say playing this game has spoiled me. I played the Tera closed beta over the weekend and I was irritated I had to read!

I loved them all at first and watched them all, especially the early levels. After about Tatooine it became spacebar spam. In fairness, I had already seen the early stories for most classes and might have burned myself out.

Once I found out that you can just restart convos to get loyalty points I found the actual conversations a waste of time. I would rather watch a good movie or show.

By cut scenes, I imagine you mean the dialogue conversations?
The first thing that bugs me is that people group it into 2 categories, class quest, and everything else.

They should realize that each planet has its own mini story arc. Some planets have a really cool and awesome story arc, and others do not. I think a lot of people feel like they hit the brick wall around 25 is because Balmora, Nar Shadaar and Tatooine have really bad story arcs (and I love Nar Shadaar too). I love Alderaan's environment, but I think the planet quests there are kind of boring too, story wise.

I would recommend these planets for their story chains: Taris, Belsavius, Voss, Corellia, Ilum

Also, I would like to note: the inquisitor story is by far the worse story on the Empire's side, so if you get tired of your class quest story too, which I certainly did, maybe trying a different class might help.

Lastly, if you don't run flashpoints, I recommend that you do them all at least once. The flashpoints combined actually wrap up into it's own story arc leading into False Emperor, which I really enjoyed.

I'm on my main character build, so hell yeah, I watch them all and enjoy every minutes!

There cool for class stories, but I really don't need a cutscene for every side quest, hearing how jackoff #2333221 needs 10 bear asses got old.

I can read fast and don't enjoy overworked actor voices, so cutscenes was a bit too much for me.

I called it right back before launch. Cut-scenes are a one-shot entertainment affair. I'm sure lots of the casual "I'm enjoying the story" crowd love it but they will be done with their playthrough of KOTOR 3 in the next few months and the log-in daily crowd are going to be the ones around years from now. The hits the overall game quality and production had to take because of the time and cost involved with all the cutscenes and V/O work was not worth it long term imho.

Listen to all cutscenes except for dailys or when I need to catch up in level with a friend. I must say, that the leveling in SW:TOR has spoiled me greatly. I attempted to level up my mage in Sholazar Basin the other day but lost all motivation the moment I was about to pick up the first quest, it's amazing how much the cutscenes adds to the quests...

The thing is some of the side quest scenes are REALLY good. Theirs on in particular on Dromund Kaas that had some excellent VO done on it.

This one really stood out. The solider is trapped inside the machine and the dynamic between logical machine and scared human really comes out in the VO. Theirs a few more like that in the game, rare gems for sure but gems indeed.

I was thinking about that one too. Some amazing writing there, as well as a couple on Balmorra also at the early levels that really impressed me. I skip a couple of things if I just want to get on with things, but in general I'll watch whatever they give me. Dailies I skip, of course.

a lot of the cutscenes voice acting is good / great, and I can only recall a handfull of bad voices (one of the quest giver on corellia...ugghh..). I also like the fact that the music is also matching the mood of the scene (I remember on my bounty hunter the old man on hutta for the H2 quest, and the musique was playing in the background made it sound like on of these youtube videos made of onions you know... of course it turns out it's one of these quest where no one is white or black..).

I agree it may not have a lasting power, but the voice acting is what this game stands out for. Not the graphics, not the animation, but the stories and cutscenes. When in a few years I move to other games, I'll remember this game fondly for the voices and the storylines.
