Is arcane barrage pointless aside from using while moving? The CD makes its impossible to spam so you only use it once/twice while moving and that is it, its nice to be able to press something while moving but still.

You are absolutely right. Arcane Barrage is pointless aside from using while moving. When you want to get rid of the Arcane Blast stacks, you'll use Arcane Missiles instead.

It's being buffed into a much more useful spell in MoP (with a cleave component!) but yes, until then it is fairly lacklustre.

Not to mention that you cannot drop stacks with AM anymore in MoP.

Use it with a macro that also shoots ice lance and fire blast..that way u always have at least one of them available

You use it after mini-burn in a regen rotation after ABx1-2 if AM hasn't proced.

Its pretty good for finishing off things with low health. Like a flail or eye on Heroic Zonozz.

I use it on Spine to break the Fiery Grip. Blast, Blast, Barrage.
