Well its the only game series that I dont really look in to. Just a release day buy every time. Always entertaining.

San Andreas was the one game/location I wasn't really a fan of. But assuming they redo it the way they redid Liberty for IV, I'm not too worried.

Stoked for the new setting. I certainly enjoyed the environment in San Andreas and look forward to a bigger version of GTA 4.

Few things I didn't care for in GTA 4 that I hope either get removed or replaced with something better. Mainly the dating/friends crap. Felt like more of a chore then any daily I've ever done in WoW.

The multiplayer was occasionally fun. Would of been better in a PC environment but we all know how the GTA games are on PC. >_>

Hopefully it's more like San Andreas than GTA 4.

San Andreas had better, more varied environment and the soundtrack was far better than GTA 4's.

I can't wait, I loved San Andreas. Probably will end up pre-ordering.

I hope Cj comes back, at least for a cameo.

Mind Blowing again. Even tho its the same stuff since almost 9 years now (since it raised from 2d). So yes, another GTA, another game for me to play for 100% with all achievements. 1 year gaming experienced saved. Yippi kaye. Cant wait for it

And yes, pre-order as soon as it pops on amazon

/e: 1 thing I forgot. Whats up with "casual" gamers? Cant imagine what they mean? Like open cheats or smth? To just turn on your console/pc, have fun for 15mins while bombing some cars and increasing your stars (cwutIdidthar)??

Wasn't really a fan of San Andreas. Why can't they just make Vice City 2.0? That was by far the best imo.

November 23rd release? Even though it's a rumour, I sure hope it's true.

Can't wait for it. Loved these games since the original and its supebikes.
The only gripe I had with San Andreas is that there was too much dead space. If they recreate Los Santos like they did Liberty City it'll be awesomer (since it will be awesome regardless).

I don't know. Back then hated the first two GTA's with a passion. The third was pretty ok. Since then I lost the track of the GTA's.

As I see they pretty much bumped up the polygon count.

Game has been in development for quite some time (4 years I believe) so it wil either be late this year or early next year release. (in b4 end of the world ^^).

Personally. I am looking forward to this and Mass Effect 3. Iv waited for GTA SA like setting for some time. GTA 4 was ok although iv not even completed it but the whole game missed something, the driving and performance optimization was terrible.

    Nice thread

Yeah I cant wait, its gonna be one of the biggest games this year, only problem is what platform do I buy it on!

I am indeed looking forward to another GTA game, as I own and enjoy all of them very much. The return to Los Santos is also a great thing, as I really liked it in San Andreas.

Pre-ordering is a no-go, I will never pre-order a game ever again. I will buy it, however, when it comes out on the PC, even though I dread the system requirements...

The lighting in this game is absolutely fantastic, the trailer and those screenshots are all in-game footage, as GTA games don't do cinematics; but if they design it like it's predecessor, PC users will need a 3GB video card (at least...) to hold all the texture and effect data... that was the single most idiotic design decision they ever made, that's what the bloody RAM are for!

It sure is going to be the biggest, top 3-5 imho. Id say get it on PC if you can run it since you will really enjoy the graphics and future modding content rather then on consoles which are limited.

I also don't usually look into these games, I just buy them. I don't need a review to tell me that it's going to be well made :P

Also, 4 was a good game.

Personally im very confident that the game will be good so might pre-order it depending what features come with it. But yeah, alot of recent games were failry disappointing but anyway...

Hopefully I can run it with my budget build (1GB 460, 4GB ddr2 800MHz, 5-5-5-12 and AMD X2 555 @ 4Ghz. Hopefully can get money and get new system ^^

Also some "major" news will be coming that Rockstar is suppose to release within next few months/weeks.

Yeah, reviews give a decent picture of what the game is going to be about, but mean nothing since it really matters down to the buyer and only his/your opinion matters ^^

    Updated: Edit

    GTA 5 in-game TV station

Grand Theft Auto V fans have been getting excited about some recent news and it’s no surprise that the rumor mill has now begun once again. There is a possibility that we could get to see an in-game TV station within GTA 5, and this has now created a great deal of interest, as some of our readers have already been coming up with a few ideas of their own.

Same as one of above posters, i don't really research any of the GTA games before it's out, i just buy it instantly when it's available.

Graphics look quite sweet here, can't wait!
