Looks good, probably won't beat the insane over the top fun that was Saints Row the Third, but I'll still play it, even though, in my opinion, Saints Row is the new king of sandbox games like this.

Saints row the third got old REALLY fast for me, I guess its just personal opinion :P I still play GTA IV and san andreas today

I wish that rockstar takes as much time as needed to make it perfect and complete when it releases, because GTA V has two games to compete with, not just GTA IV, also Red Dead Redemption, which is rockstars masterpiece

I hope they keep the more realistic physics they had in IV but get rid of the constant phone calls. Roman must be sick of getting hung up on/ignored.

Yea the world gets tasteless after awhile and once you're done with all the activities and stuff it gets boring as you can basically become invincible in the game with unlimited ammo. I just find the missions way more fun in Saints Row than I do in GTA, but the "end game"/playability is a bit higher in GTA, much more fun police chases sometimes, and a nice looking city to have them in.

Not sure what you mean about the movement and driving. The car handling and control/physics were perfect, the driving is the best part about the game.
Regarding the phone, while I didn't like the constant baby sitting of the friends - the addition of the phone fixed a lot of logistical problems and created a centralisation location to use for extra features.

That's kinda his point. GTA IV driving physics were too realistic, which is anti fun.

Dont try to tell me you havent notice the big change in driving from San Andreas to GTA IV (which was a lot more realistic and therefore harder).

I think the San Andreas driving and phycis were better, not because they were more realistic, but because they were more fun.

Hello there.
I am one more of the many GTA series fans. So I was thinking about making a thread were we could gather all the information coming out and also a place to post our opinions and ideas. I could only find a post on mmo-Champion with the trailer, so maybe it's a good idea if we can have a post with a lot of info about it and we could try to keep updating it, I'll gladly do so.

So, as Elvis would say, "a little less conversation, a little more action please".

About the platforms and release date

Web sites like Amazon have already put the game on different platforms such as PS3 or Xbox, making it look like we'll get the game with this generation, although there are rumors pointing at the new generation, but that seems to be a little far away for the new GTA. However, many game specialists have already spoken about how important it would be for Rockstars to release their game not further than 2013 1Q.
About PC: We can only hope that they make a PC version as it's probably the best way to play a GTA. You can easily change the cars, buildings... Seems like GTA IV had some issues for them on the PC platform, but it wouldn't really make much sense not releasing it for computer users.

We also have to remember the Rockstars way. They usually release the game not longer than 12 months from it's announcement.

The leaked vehicles list.

Some people found a list of cars in the Max Payne 3 files. The list is quite long and, as you can see, most of the names perfectly match the old GTA cars. Remember that Rockstars don't have the license to get real life cars in their game, so they always designed similar cars with names reminding us the real cars.

Hehe I totally agree. But somehow they really are like Blizzard for that matter, they won't release nor tell anything till it's prepared. I like that, makes games really worth it, bit it's a nightmare!

I'd like to take a moment to express my anger an disappointment over the fact that you can't play Vice City Stories, Liberty City Stories, GTA China wars, etc etc on computer. I'm a huge fan of the storyline and the reoccuring characters - do I rly háve to buy some sjitty console now?
