SCP-087-B - WTF is this game?!?

(Off Topic) Hey guys I have been reading the MMO-Champion forums for a while now and I decided to make a account finally :P

(On Topic) So my friend told me to watch videos on a game called SCP-087-B today. I know I could google it (and I have some) but I just wanted everyone's opinion on the game. Is it like Amnesia? I like those games where things pop out at you and you cant fight back, but what is the objective of the game? How many floors do you have to go down before you reach the end? Is the game even worth downloading and playing?

That's not a game, just a crude tech demo. The number of levels is randomly generated every time, so one time you can walk for like an hour and don't encounter anything, and the other time it will be on the second floor. If you've seen at least one "gameplay" video - you've seen them all. There's nothing more to it.

It's based on a short story of sorts.

There's a website where folks posted a bunch of fiction in the style of files for a Men In Black type of organization that manages supernatural entities. Some of the entries are very good. Some are lame as all fuck. There was a period not too long ago where they had to clean house and get rid of some of the more ridiculous entries and tone down a bunch of others.

SCP-087-B is basically an endless staircase. In the endless staircase there is a monster that does nothing but mess with your character's mind until he finally kills you.Here's a video of my friend and I playing it!!
