    Help with build

Ok, those of you that have helped me in the past are prolly sick of helping me but this time is the final time I promise you...
We started with the 800$ build and we looked at Micro center to get pricing there on the stuff and slowly upgraded the system(we think) without raising the price too much due to sales they're having...

Just want to make sure this will still run as good/better then the 800$ build that's listed.

I have problems with all of these parts.

The RAM is fine, just, if you ever want to get a bigger air cooler, those heat spreaders will be a problem, consider some low profile RAM, like Vengeance LP.

No reason to get the i5-2550K, get the 2500K, save yourself $10.

That PSU looks IMMENSELY cheap. $35? 575 watt? Logisyswho? So many signs here point to low grade. Spend more money on the power supply or just keep saving up. The one review giving it 2 stars out of 5 doesn't make me want to suggest this PSU, either.

Finally the hard drive. No. Don't buy a 5900RPM 1.5TB drive. Just don't. Eco, green, slow. Not worth it. Get yourself a nice 7200RPM 1TB like a WD Caviar Black or Samsung Spinpoint F3.

Well, the ram is a temporary thing, I plan on upgrading to 8gig chips later down the road i'm just trying to be somewhat cost effective right now.

    Will do on the processor.

The PSU - would this do as a viable replacement.

    And the HDD:

Would any of those work, I wasn't able to find a caviar black or a samsung pinpoint unfortunately.

Any of the HDDs you linked would work out well.

STAY AWAY FROM THAT PSU!!!! The Thermaltake TR2's have literally fried computers in the past and are known to do such things - I do not trust them one bit. Get yourself a PSU from an actually reputable brand when it comes to PSUs, like one of the following:

    Seasonic
    Silverstone
    Enermax
    Corsair
    Antec

Yeah I personally try to stay away from Thermaltake in general. ;p

    That's a decent PSU.
