Decent levelling build for a Cleric @ 40?

I managed to grind my way to 40 using the Duracel build but it's getting pretty boring, I was using the guide from here http://dulfycleric.wordpress.com/201...eveling-guide/. Since 1.7 is there a decent alternative for levelling, something that can solo as much as possible (rifts, group quests, etc). I've googled it but most of the information is pre 1.7 :s

As far as I know not much changed for cleric in 1.7, which is why nothing needed to be rewritten. However, since you are so close now, try looking up some endgame specs for whatever you wanna do at endgame (tank, heal, melee or ranged DPS) and use those to change things up a bit. You'll master them nicely in time for hitting 50 and getting your teeth into some real content.

Duracell isn't exciting, it's efficient. If you want something different make up your own. The entire gimmick of the game is based on the soul system. Create one.

Strategy: Not much new here except your AoE abilities got a bit more beefer with the addition of two new AoE abilities.

For AoE grinding: Cast Vex on individual mobs (it'll heal you) and let them come to you. Cast Fanaticsm (100% crit) then cast Soul Drain. Cast Circle of Oblivion. retag the mobs with Vex as needed. 3 control spells for when things get dicey, plus mana regen through Aggressive Renewal.

For single target: Cast Bolt of Judgment, cast Sanction Heretic, cast Vex. If Bolt of Depravity procs, use it.

There are more efficient AoE grinding/leveling builds, but this build is great practice for when you hit 50. 51 Inq is just about the highest, most reliable DPS build for raiding.
It's what I used for AoE leveling around 40. It can make quick work of quests too. Spell crit is important, but I'd suggest trying to work around a 2.5:1 ratio of spellpower to crit. It's more universally valuable to you regardless of what build you go with down the line.
