Does sith corruption give you bright red eyes?

    Hi

when you play SWToR as dark you gain sith corruption visual efect, at level 1 dark you gain a bit of dark chades and orange eyes, lvl 2 seems to give more shades. My subscription runned yout before i got lvl 4 and 5 and i Think i saw a few screens with red eyed characters, will your eyes turn red at lvl 5?

yes they will start to glow red at level 4

But you have zombie skin to compliment the red eyes which I'm not a fan of.

Hence why you can turn the whole thing off in preferences.

On topic: The skin starts to change on dark level 1, and gets more pale by every level.

To be fair, on most characters it looks really really ugly.
I'm glad I gave my pureblood a dark siedish look on character creation and am not dependant on the sith corruption effect.

Yes, even as a Sith Pureblood, with Dark red skin and yellow eyes, at dark 5 your skin turns white, eyes turn red, and you get dark circles around your eyes and mouth with veins showing through your skin all over your face. Note: it's not just the skin on your face that turns white, your whole body does.

That's my Jedi Shadow at dark 4, which is when your eyes turn completely red. My character's eyes were golden brown when I started, and they went through a very striking - almost glowing - amber color to being completely red at dark 4. As you can see, though, they do not glow. Could be my GFX settings.

The coloring of the skin is just a subtle black around the eyes and on the sides of the mouth. My character had a heavy red makeup before.

Judging by that pic, I think sith corruption isn't as exaggerated on the republic side of things. Dark 4 on empire side, you look moments from death practically. Far more veins showing, and already completely pale white. Much different than what you posted.

Yeah, I think that's your graphics settings... I'm headed home now, when I get there I'll take a picture of my Sith Assassin, who is Dark V, on Ultra... My eyes glow noticeably read, and my skin and veins are both quite dark.

I like the red eyes but it seems the red went from my skin to my eyes as a sith trueblood.

Uhh... Pretty sure it has nothing to do with BioWare. Haven't you seen Palpatine in the original movies? Looks pretty much like a zombie.

The Dark Side...darkens and corrupts the flesh. It's less undead than it is just...kinda dead.

Due to old age and force lightning injuries... Count Dooku never looked like an army of the dead

Dooku, as well as Palpatine both were powerful enough to suppress their "Sith look", much like you are when you go to your preferences and click sith effects off.

    I see no difference.

    Seriously though: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_side_of_the_Force

The dark side, much like a strong, addictive narcotic, affected not only the mind of the user but the appearance as well. As one immersed themselves deeper within the dark side of the Force, its malevolent power would take a toll on the body.

Many darksiders experienced a change in the pigmentation of their eyes, as their normal eye color would transform into a luminous, sulfuric yellow. Often the skin would also lose pigmentation, becoming pale and mottled while veins became increasingly visible. The hair would also lose color, making it appear as though the darksider was aging rapidly. The user's voice would also be altered, becoming a few pitches lower and raspier.
