Is the News Forum WoW news only? If so could the name of that forum please be changed to reflect the content.

Nobody can make threads in the News forum; it's just the place where the posts that show up on the front page live.

People are welcome to post their own news of various sorts in the appropriate subforums -- general IRL news in the General Off-Topic section, SWTOR news in the SWTOR section, etc.

i did check which why i made this thread because to believe that a forum named "news" that only has wow related threads is meant be for wow news only=assumption

I'm not sure that I'm understanding you correctly, but what Sunshine is saying is that the News forum is just basically the forum view of the front page. So the only news that pops up there is going to be identical to the front page stuff ie, WoW news, so we're not sure why it should be renamed.
