    Memory Dump

Hi i recently bought 8gbs worth of crucail ddr3 1333mhz ram and checked to see if it would work on my motherbaord and it says it can handle that much, but when i install it and start the computer up as soon as it opens windows it restarts the computer and blue screens, saying memory dump at the bottom.

But if i take 1 stick out and just leave 1 in it seems to work fine, Any ideas?

    Thanks

Had an issue similar to this yesterday when I built my new rig. I just ended up trying all the DIMMs in different slots, and when that didn't work, I went into the BIOS to reset and reconfigure the latencies and DRAM voltages. Fixed it right up.

Of course, your sticks could be bad, too.. just pray they aren't .

On the blue screen, there should be an error code, for example 0x00000124. That code would give us a much better idea of how to help.
