Wait until he goes AFK, drag his pet around a pillar back to a raid group lying in wait - take positions to fight the pet like a raid boss - then call in a Deathwing airstrike - they are only susceptible to aspects of death having mind sex with old gods - and only if their pet is dead and they are afk. Frost mages can ice block through Ragnaros' fire attacks: overpowered.

Mages are the squishiest of all classes in the game currently. Train them, exploit this - HARD. Never HoJ Unless it's to force a blink, or their blink is down. Cleanse yourself, hof your partner. Make your partner play a real spec.

Easy way to either force a lot of cooldowns, or get a kill: Charge in both on mounts, pop everything Repent their partner while your partner CoIs the mage. Run into melee range - and HoJ+Pop all cds. They almost def. will blink here, DK Grips back - you should have roughly 2 gcds of open damage - DO NOT hammer til he walks out of range, if mage's partner is a healer - and mage is sub-50% - Strang the healer, HoF your partner, cleanse yourself. Easy kill.

If he plays frost or unholy - you guys HARDCOUNTER mage teams. The only mage team who should really cause issue is Mage+Spriest. As long as they use their cds liberally, you shouldn't win. These matches are almost always going to be short as hell, but unless their teamate is extremely squishy - you should ignore them.

I can't tell if you are trolling or..... super trolling? Mages have the highest survivability in the game right now - its just through control and mobility, not armor - and shadow/mage isn't nearly as strong as mage/rogue, mage/feral, mage/rsham, mage/disc, mage/companion pet - which are the top 2's comps this expansion.
