I have never played diablo but from what my friends have told me if you can play WoW then you can play Diablo well enough.. and you're specs would let you play WoW smoothly albeit not on highest settings, so assuming diablo 3 has different graphic settings then yes you can play smooth

I guess you could play Diablo 3 3 times on the same pc with that setup.
In the end the winner is still the last man standing.

    From the internet:

    Recommended System Specifications

    PC

    OS

Windows Vista/Windows 7 (Latest Service Packs)

    Processor

    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 5600+ 2.8 GHz

    Memory

    2 GB RAM

    Video

NVIDIA GeForce 260 or ATI Radeon HD 4870 or better

These are the recommended specifications and you meet them. So, yes you can run Diablo 3.

    Regards

You have a high powered computer; I doubt there are any games being released with minimum specs higher than that, and D3 is not a computer intensive game to begin with.

You will not have any problems... Your computer blow away the recommended requirements...

you can probably play 5 diablo 3 on highest quality simultaniously ...

my pc has half your power (besides grafic) and i have yet to get a game i cant play on ultra settings so blizzard products will NEVER be a problem.

only thing i have problems with are physX effects due to the lack of nvidia cards (but i cant see any difference when disabled anyway).

I can run D3 on my ancient pentium dualcore 2,0 and a geforce g 105m. You will have no problems at all.

If your computer has atleast 4gb ram, above 2.0 ghz processor, and a real graphics card with dedicated video memory....it will definetly play D3. Anything bought within the last year or so basically.
