Share your playlist !

Hey guys,

Guild Wars 2 has a neat feature that makes it possible to use custom playlists instead of the game's original music. For example, you can define a certain track to play in combat phases, another one for ambiant open-world exploration, etc ...

So, what's gonna be YOUR playlist ?

To keep it focused and manageable avoid embedding whole YouTube videos, just write the name of the song, the artist's name and provide a link to a place where you can listen to it if possible. As for me, I haven't decided yet but I know THIS is going to be my combat music

I will just go with the Guild Wars 2 music, since it's beautiful. I'm not that kind of person who actually mute the game sound and play my own music, I like the in-game soundtracks, it drags me more into the game

I only listen to classical music and some techno. So basically the basic soundtrack is enough for me. Occasionally I revisit older games and play the OST on them though.


(Note: Not the techno where people are bouncing around in glowsticks)

I agree with you but after XX (or XXX) days of playtime I for one will get a little bit bored and will probably jump back and forward between playlists and in-game music

Use Pandora mostly myself. Mainly stuff like Bullet for My Valentine, Rise Against, Killswitch Engage, Skillet and some Story of the Year.

I will listen to the in game music until I get bored of it, but considering the quality of Jeremy Soule's work, that will take a while. Just putting it on mute without even giving it a try is sad really. His music is amazing.

Yea, seems like a great soundtrack. Just I need to have constant wall of sound to keep me going. "Head-down & grind" type of player I am.

Edit: But this is only after I could sing every part of the OST in my sleep. (Which knowing me, will be about a week).
