Your budget goal are a little unrealistic to be honest. I put something together that meets all your requirements, except for budget. You could probably find a few cheaper parts here and there but i wouldn't recommend skimping on the quality to get there. either way this is my suggestion.

Not sure if it changes much. But I did forget to mention I get free 2 day shipping on all newegg products. If that changes some of your items/total cost

This will save you about 212$ and get you close to budget.
You will be sacrificing 2 processor cores and the ability to overclock.
Memory will be capped at 1333mhz but wont matter much.
Your motherboard wont have as many features as the first but enough to get by.
I do agree with Notarget's build. You would be better off sacrificing a monitor for the time being and purchase it later.

If you absolute need to get your budget that much lower sure but you'll only have the bare minimum for your listed requirements, I wouldn't recommend it.

All the parts that are not on NewEgg are free shipping so nothing to worry about there.

Been thinking about this also, since i'll be able to pick up another monitor in a couple weeks if need be. Was just trying to do a 1 stop shop type of deal

How would this system run the games I mentioned on high-max settings with decent fps and/or what should be replaced with what.

Now I know the i5-2500k from microcenter is cheaper. but it said in-store pick up only and there isn't even one in the same state as me.

The 520 GT Graphics Card will absolutely not run modern games on high settings. I also would recommend adding ~20 bucks your processor budget to get the 2500K if you're going to spend $185 anyway. I'm not familiar with that power supply, but you want to make sure your PSU and motherboard are a good quality brand.

I would personally go Notarget's build, and settle for one monitor. You can always buy another one later.

I don't even know where to start critiquing that build. bad GPU, small monitor, green/slow HDD etc. You're not gonna play at your desired setting. I put something else together which will bring the total down, perform worse than the original build but will still tackle most newer games.

I know you're not near a MicroCenter, just click the link and choose a different vendor like NewEgg.

You could edit all the "none" parts out to make it easier to read. Either way, no that's a fairly crappy build and it's similar priced + shipping compared to the new one I put together. Also you have no operating system in that build.

I thought from reading your first post you needed a Windows 7 copy, either way you can just take away $100 from each of my builds and you're good to go, while trying to decide.

Borrowing a copy sounds legit by the way
