Meh, I just went to guildwars2.com, downloaded all the concept art, screenshots, wallpapers and so on (140+ pictures in total once I got rid of the charr ones), and set them to rotate every 30 seconds. Now my desktop is perfect, with or without icons. One hour of entertainment without launching a single program.

The ability is there, but you can still see it slightly when it's hidden. I'd rather just have a good looking toolbar 100% of the time instead of a toolbar that looks like ass but I can't see 90% of the time.
