'tis a fine plan, but the devil will be in the details. Biggest stumbling block will be that your account belongs to a server, so you can't just make an alt on the server on which we have the guild.

That said, with the ability to visit other servers we can at least have planned get-togethers and get up to all sorts of crazy hijinks.

Or we just pay transfer to your server and all will be good

Flashbacks of the central transfer chamber o.0) Just may not be able to WvWvW together. But many a crazy shenanigan can still be had! Shame though...that would be awesome for 24hr guardage.

I am well up for the idea of the guild

Mayhaps it would be possible to determine a server before hand if there is a list on the beta tests once the NDA has been lifted.
