i hope AC3 brings back brotherhood style combat while bringing the nifty things in from REV like the hookblade/close up kill cam. While keeping the REV multiplayer and not the cluster fuck of brotherhood multiplayer. Having random nobs having no clue how to score and just mindless running at you has always annoyed me, they could fix smokebomb aswell. it's better than it was in brotherhood but not by much.As i understand it this assassin uses tomahawks instead of the hidden blade? if he does that's gonna be sweet

He uses the hidden blade. The tomahawk is the replacement for the sword. I'd be willing to bet you can change out weapons though and switch the tomahawk for other things.

-the locations and times were decided long ago, probably before ac1 was finished.

-this is the end of desmond and conner.

-AC will continue, but with a different main protagonist.


-this game has been in development for 3 years

-yes there is a hidden blade

- A CE was announced for Europe. google it

- Desmond has to save the world from some sort of cataclysmic event. we arent sure what. and the central point to do that is believed to be in New York some where

I find it odd that Conner looks incredibly white in the Trailer Cinematic but looks like he should look (Being 1/2 Native American) in the game itself...wierd

So far I've only seen him killing redcoats and animals. Was hoping for a bit more of that "neutrality" they've been feeding us. Oh well, game looks pretty good. Not a huge fan of the new main character though.

My takeaway from the trailer was that the American commander was watching the slaying of the British Commander with unease... implying that he also was a Templar.

The last Assassin's game was pretty lackluster in my opinion, so hopefully this one won't disappoint.

In the early portions of the game you will mainly be killing redcoats. They've already released the time line for the game though, and it's not going to end when the war ends. Also, if you remember from The Truth segments in AC:B and AC2, Washington gets an apple at some point. In the early points of the game, Connor and Washington will be friends, but I don't expect it to stay that way.

My own theory is that Connor will be forced to take the apple from him once he starts abusing its power.
