About Acquired Taste

Acquired Taste has been around since Vanilla and has been the forefront of Akama's PvE progression since Burning Crusade. We tend to run with a tight roster, so being sat is very rare, or would only occur for progression needs (raid composition, bring the class, not the player -Blizzard philosophy). We are also very active outside of our raid schedule, doing old content for achievement points, mount runs, or premades for battlegrounds. Our primary focus is always going to be end game content and competing on a world level while keeping the time spent doing so entertaining and enjoyable.

What We Want

Experienced and competent raiders. We don't expect every applicant to be in full best in slot gear when they apply, since gear is so easy to come by nowadays. However, we do expect applicants to be extremely knowledgeable about their class and spec, as well as how to utilize their assets for fight mechanics. We want to be impressed by people applying. We also like people who can at least show some effort in doing whatever it is that they are doing.

Any healing class that can make all raids AND be able to offspec DPS (ie - keep up with main spec DPS) BONUS POINTS. WE WANT YOU.

Raiding Schedule

Sunday-Thursday 7:00 Server time ~ 11:00 Server time (central time zone), Mondays typically clean-up if necessary. Do not bother applying if your real life schedule is erratic and spontaneous and half the time you won't be present. Since we are now on farm status (moooo), the raid schedule has been shortened to 1 day a week, that being Tuesday. We do partake in alt raids which occur on Saturdays (mains are brought to this if anyone was absent or had to be benched for whatever reason).
