Since true beer people would not even consider Miller, Bud, or Coors to be actual beer brands, much less "lite" as an actual kind of beer. :P

ooo I think I've seen these bottles. In fact I've tried the one with the unicorn by the castle. How much does the one you linked to cost?
lite beer can mean things other than coors , miller, bud etc.

wheat beers and beers such as stella are certainly "light" but the problem is people associate light beer with cheap piss water (which most is) and there is so much more out there.

having said that since my favorite is the oatmeal stout at the pub by my house I'd certainly not consider myself a "light" beer person. also i tried a chocolate stout the other day, it was great i'll have to go back.

great advice from someone who "doesn't drink beer" i'd rather have someone say "I drink beer, this is what i drink"

I actually like Stella. Stella has a good strong flavor, if not so flavorful as lagers and other ales. I suppose it might be unfair to lump all light beers with the crap that is Coors and Bud Lite. Stella is a good beer.

Well maybe the target audience are people who usually don't drink beer, and judging by how it tastes I think I'm right, regular beer drinkers wouldn't touch the stuff (again). Then again, I'm not a big fan of Mexican beers in general.

Leffe is a really nice belgian wheat beer, quite strong as beers go but it's a really nice one for a slow drink. A nice pint of Brains SA always goes down nicely, whether it's dark, light or IPA!

I don't like beer and overall all cheap alcohol. Espesially beer that tastes like vomit.

Wish I could change my answer from None to Cider.

Stella is not a Canadian Beer. It's from Belgium, although is now manufactured by Anheuser Busch.
