    Changing Windows settings.

    Hello there mmo.

I currently have a crappy pc. However I can play both sc2 and WoW quite fine with it. However if I am ingame for a long time, tabbing out takes forever.

What I want help with is something I can't remember anymore. I changed it to windows classic mode. This I know takes some stress of the computer. However I need to know how to change the "boxes". Like for example I want to open My Documents. And I want to drag the box to another corner. How do I fix it so that the boxes picture stands still until I let go of the mouse button so the pic doesn't follow all the way?

Anything else regarding making my comp go smoother is very much appreciated. I have erased alot on my hardrive. Cleared my desktop etc etc.

well if you are using win7 (or possibly vista) just go to your desktop rightclick->personalize->pick windows classic in the basic and high contrast themes part

    I am using windows 7.

And high contrast means less "pixel" lag?

Start > type "advanced settings" hit enter > click "Settings" under Performance > Visual Effects tab > Custom > check "Show window contents while dragging"

you might also consider running the games in windowed fullscreen to aid alt tab speeds

Yup, WoW has a Windowed(fullscreen) mode which I highly recommend using because it makes alt-tabbing instant. Not sure about SC2.

Speeds depend on whether you're filling up your RAM and how quick it is.
