New MoP info today?

So if I remember right, a few weeks ago it was said that we would get a lot of new MoP info on march 4th or 5th. Is that still the case? And if so what do you guys think we are going find out?

If I recall correctly, the press tour going on for Mists Of Pandaria right now is for March 19th (My birthday)

I haven't read anywhere that we'll be getting any information any sooner or later than that. Guess we just have to play the waiting game as of now.

according to this thread from the official forums which quotes mmo-champion the press event is schedule for mar 13-15. So unfortunately I don't think we will get much information until then.

Yep March 13-15 ...

Gooood Gives me 5-7 days to go balls out in ME3 and get it mostly done before I have to bury my head into all the MOP info

How do these press events work? Specifically do they have to keep it confidential for a fixed of time? More specifically how long does it take between the press getting the info and us getting it?

Press meetings Are kinda supposed to give the information to the public. Keeping it a secret on what was said on it would go aginst the reason why the press exists, wich is to give us information

I would imagine a press-event is where they will make their announcements, and selected members of the Press will be able to get hands-on with the current, or at least a prepared iteration of the product that is further progressed from that shown at Blizzcon.
It is an opportunity for it to be presented to us by someone other than blizzard, someone who may be a lot more critical of the product.

I imagine we will get it pretty quick, if somthing is supposed to be secret, the last thing you do is tell the press.

Really eager to hear what they have to say during the press tour thing. In the meantime I'll have ME3... Just darn shame it's out 3 days late in Europe (even the fucken digital version from Origin!).

We should get a good amount of screens, some alpha recording and some new models (pandaren female? more creatures with that pandarian tiger's level of quality?) and possibly a date (or at least, an estimated month) for the first wave of beta invites.

That's what I hope to hear, anyway.

I can't wait for the tour to begin. Im sure Blizzard is sitting on a ton of stuff and we will finally be able to see some of that.

Wrong, it March 13-15, not 4-5.
