Best tower defense game for PC

Hey, i want you all to shoot off your best towerdefense game you have tried for pc, free or pay games..... I am really hooked on them, but starring on my android phone isnt so funny anymore.

Thanks in advice.

WC3, SC2 have som really neat TD mods.

Orcs Must Die and Dungeon Defenders are both really fun. OMD more for single player and DD for multiplayer.

What Ryttge said though is true too. SC2 especially has some good tower defense custom games.

Wouldn't quite call it "easy" though, there's some quite challenging levels in there in order to progress.

Tried GTD, its kind of frustrating, ugly, slow, unclear.

Dungeon defenders is a pretty unique tower defense game for the PC.
Can be played as third person, first person, or fouth person, supports multiplayer and solor.
Pure tower defense, and the regular gameplay where your character is able to repair towers and shoot enemies to help out the wave progression.
It gets seriously lengthy with multiple players though.

Kingdom rush is by far my favorite tower defense game, that I have come across.
It was to short and somewhat easy (after you get all the "talents" at least), they are working on more levels afaik.

Usually the tower defense games are "too complicated" for my taste, with countless towers, upgrades, and other meaningless crap.

Warcraft 3 and its expansion have hundreds of Custom tower defense maps and have had them for year since release of the games

I play a bit of Dungeon Defenders and Sanctum. DD is better for multiplayer while Sanctum has a very challenging single-player.

Defense Grid the Awakening with the You Monster add on is amazing.

Dungeon Defenders is great, they also release free content patches with each major holiday, and there is a boat load of content to do, the Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards DLC is great too. Keep in mind the holiday DLC is only free for a few weeks, then it goes to a $1.99 charge when it's not really near the holiday anymore.

Orcs Must Die! and the Artifacts of Power and Lost Adventures DLC packs are great fun too.

There are also a ton of great free games you can play with a quick google search. This is one of my favorite types of games to play the last couple of years. I have put over 350 hours into Dungeon Defenders and 200+ hours each into Orcs Must Die and Defense Grid.
