You listen to a band called Garbage?

Anyway, I don't know any of the bands you listed, except for Foo Fighters, but even then I'm not much into them... But if you like Foo Fighters you could always try Offspring.

The 90s was a great time for music. You should check out Fuzzie's lists. I know you are in to metal and all, but Weezer's first two albums are about as good as it gets music wise.

I listen to a lot of things from the 80's and older than that. I do like some of the stuff from the 90's like Cranberries.

The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...

There is a actually a method you need. You research the bands' influences. Listen to those. Also check to see if the people in those bands have any side projects. That's the easiest way to branch out in my opinion.

Use last.fm, search for your band then look at similar artists. last.fm has been pretty spot on for me.

I would recommend expanding your horizons a bit, find other genres you've never listened to and listen to some of the stuff in those.

I have mixed feelings about last.fm. I've had some specific disagreements with it. I've used Pandora to similar effect with some success though.

OT: Try eating some "Cake". They might fit your mold.
