The Engima Order, english speaking, international guild existsing since the EU servers were first launched.
Three raids a week, 11 hours of raids per week.
Dragon Soul heroic progress at 6/8. Now willing to step the game up to the next level, even if it takes some drastic measures
Recruiting nearly every class granted the player is impressive. Also opened for merger scenarios that includes absorbing a 10 man guild of similar profile or getting absorbed by an established guild with a few spots opened and experienced, open minded leadership. To that end, a migration or faction change is not impossible.
The details
The Enigma Order is a 25 man raiding guild located on alliance side of Stormreaver, Cyclone battelgroup. The guild exists since day one of World of Warcraft, raiding continuously from Molten Core to Dragon Soul. In this period we have cleared just about everything the game had to offer (even if whole Naxxramas only in WotlK version), vast majority of bosses in heroic mode. Our objective is to continue doing so. We raid 3 times a week:
As for t13, under such relaxed schedule, we have managed to clear first 4 heroic bosses in Dragon Soul. Now, with certain recent changes on the server scale we had no impact on (high end guilds migrating or faction changing) as well as the loss of few of our core players, we found ourselves in dire need for fresh blood. Our interest lays in 25 man raiding, hence we are seeking for options other than downsizing to the smaller bracket of 10 man.
The qualities we are looking for are:
- the interest and belief you are suited for killing every boss in heroic mode prior to next tier of content being released. Granted there's a much more hardcore guild located on the server (world top 50), we do not realisitcally hunt for server first kills.
- long howl approach. We have nothing against accomodating people who are initially undergeared, granted they plan to stay with us for years to come. Gears is easy to obtain, good players, much less so.
- decent activity. Raiding 3 times a week we need somewhat tight of a roster to maintain decent rate of progression.
- knowledge of your class and the will to put that knowledge into practice. Gems, enchants, spec, gearing, those things don't really need to be mentioned.
- the ability to prepare for a new boss encounter prior to actually seeing it for the first time. Again, raiding 3 times a week, we need players who will first enter the crime scene with a decent orientation of what will be required and in general optimized for the encounter (proper spec etc)
The leading team of the guild consists of experienced players, some of whom have been raiding continuously under The Enigma Order banner since the very first pull in Molten Core. Some of our players are regularly getting ranked among the world top 200 for their respective specs. Some are at the very top of pvp ladders.
The goodies we can offer to our members include, but are not limited to:
- a stable environment for raiding. Not hardcore per se, given the schedule, but serious enough to make you feel part of a team sharing the same ambition.
- an established community opened for new faces. Our members come from all over Europe, that alone makes ventrilo an interesting place to be. While we always try to use our raiding time for the best, there are always some laughs included.
- we have transformed from a fairly casual guild into one with realistic chances of killing heroic bosses. Now we want to take this transformation one step further, improve even more - essentially become even better. This might take time, but we will get there, we have 7 years of experience to back this statement up and we are ready to do what it takes. New people get the chance of participating in such a process.
Due to recent loss of few core players combined with plenty of good players migrating away or faction changing, we have now found ourself in need of a few new faces to allow us to raid smoothly. Moreover, our playerbase became a little too polirized for our likings. We have some exceptional players and some who are not quite there yet. As such, we are ready to accomodate players of just about any class and spec and in quantities. Given this unusual status, we are not only interested in recruitment, but also opened for potential merger scenarios. Ideally, we would love to liaise with a 10 man raiding guild with similar profile and progress to ours, seeking for an opportunity to expand to 25 man. Combining two 25 man guilds in order to come up with a stellar, big enough roster to aim at full clear of DS heroic is also an interesting option. While we would prefer to stay on the server we are located on, we do not exclude the option of moving houses, both server and faction wise.
