Very nice. Can't wait to hear more about glory and the tournaments.

Q:In this way, how do you craft content that will challenge even the best players without frustrating the less "skilled" ones?
    Jon:
I think we generate different types of content. Some is meant to really challenge even the most experienced players, while other content is meant to appeal to more casual players. We also worked really hard in our design to make the skill floor a lot higher than most other games of this nature, to make sure you could bring your character over to PvP and feel like you could just start playing.
    wohooo I'm happy now

I do like that, but the thing that somewhat concerns me is the last paragraph and speaking about focusing on making GW2 a successful eSport. I am just hoping that by making it a successful eSport they don't completely disregard PvE content. I will most likely not participate in 5v5 matches. I will mostly be focused on WvW, 5 man dungeons, World Bosses and the occasional hot join match. If the PvE side of things gets left behind while they are trying to generate revenue through eSports I will not be happy.

Very nice read indeed. I'm very excited seeing what Anet is doing with this game.
But the following phrase worries me a bit, it implies that a lot more stuff is to be revealed in the future, making me uncertain as how soon the release date will be:

That being said, there are a few forms of progression. The first is a PvP resource called Glory. Glory is earned by playing in matches and players can spend it to obtain new weapon and armor skins for PvPing. There are also PvP achievements and statistics that we track. Finally, we have tournaments for more organized players. *Those are focused 5v5 tournaments and are the true replacement for GvG. We'll have more on those in the future.
Oh, and by the way, future skilled thief LF 5's =)

Don't worry, those will happen after release. 99.9% sure of that.

In which GW2 is currently leading in, naturally...

To bad you have to make an account to vote though.
