The Cait and I got 5 kills within 5 minutes. I've never had a game like this before, we completely facerolled 'em even though they were really tanky.

Ten minutes in, I'm 0-1, our Ryze is 0-4 and disconnects. I feed another kill, and I feel that the game's lost already when they get the third turret down.

Go go power defender Vlad! I stay at home and keep all the minions away from our remaining turrets, leaving one Nexus turret and the top-most turret alive. Malzahar and Miss Fortune couldn't 1v1 me whist I was under the turret protecting, and Tides kept the minions away. Eventually I had enough for all but my last item you see.

I ask my team-mates what I should build last and they ask me to build Zhonya's Hourglass. They then realise that they don't actually use their actives, so I go for the next best thing: Trinity Force. I end up having a 5 kill streak just from defense and my CS goes huge. I'm still in defense when the rest of my team go and Ace the enemy team and kill the enemy Nexus.

Our Jax and Amumu carried, but I definitely played my part.

...I hate PvP :3

I get everything but the mana out of it in terms of item budget, someone had already taken Abyssal Scepter (hence Spirit Visage) and Runic Bulwark, wasn't sure on what else to build for an all-rounder to finish off the build.

EDIT: And I didn't want to build Zhonya's to just forget about the active.

By what reasoning does an item that has:
Crit
Attackspeed
a base damage AD boost
A chance on hit to slow

become an all rounder for an AP-based spellcaster?

You had Rylai's for a slow. That is the only reason I can justify Trinity. AND THATS AT A HUGE PUSH. LIKE EVERY OTHER ITEM IN THE GAME HAS BEEN REMOVED PUSH.

And by what logic is Warmogs too defensive? You get AP from Warmogs.

It's better to practice forcing yourself to use it than to never build it :3
