    It's a sign!
Great game it is, however he probably paid a hefty price for what he thought was Black Ops 2..

By the way, I heard Bioware is giving out ME2 (or was it ME3?) keys to whoever accidentally got it as a Black Ops 2 disc. Nothing to do with Treyarch :P

I'm guessing they use the same disk-burning factory?

Since BLOPS is Activision, and ME is EA.

I kind of bought a new computer yesterday!

(Showroom photo because it's not registered yet, and I am getting an undercoating and a set of winter tires before I take possession.)

It's got touch screen mumbo jumbo and Microsoft SYNC, so it almost counts! Lol.

Looks good in red. That's the hatchback right, which engine did you opt for?

It's an SEL hatchback 4 door.

Looks good in red. That's the hatchback right, which engine did you opt for?
It's got a 2.0L Ti-VCT GDI Duratec I-4. 119kW/160HP, 198N-m/146lb-ft. Pretty sure it's the only one you can get in the 3rd generation Focus here, with the exception of the EcoBoost engine in the 2013 ST models.

Europe gets the cool engines like the 1.6L EcoBoost, which I would have preferred, but oh well. For a 2L engine with that much power, its fuel efficiency is very impressive. It's certainly better than the 2010 Buick Enclave I was using before.

Right right, the american car market. They have relatively interesting 1.0 EcoBoost too which produces 120hp. :> I think it's cool how they can tune something so small to put out that kind of numbers.

Also, I finally got around with my fan upgrade process. Sent back those 120mm corsair AF's and ordered 5 of those 140mm quiet edition AF's.

1L engine producing 120 HP... wow. That makes the Hyundai 1.6L Gamma engine look even worse than it really is.

It apparently runs like shit as well, if these framerates are correct and the game is properly optimized, this basically means it looks better than Crysis 2 and BF3 combined? (I call bullshit)

^ Naaah, that's bullshit. I'm on Ultra at 1920x1200 using a stock 7950 and I average at the very least 70 fps, it never dips below 60.

After installing the game, I had to download an additional ~1.9 GB. It's very possible that the benchmarks were done before that "patch" was released, and that the "patch" fixed it.

I believe TotalBiscuit actually spoke of this. The game should be running quite fluently, aside from very specific locations that showed FPS tanking.

he also mentioned something about low fps due to steam overlay on a preview build. dont know if those benchamarks are from that though but i guess it could be possible

I checked GameGPU and it turned out that the picture is from a thread posted on the 19th, which means that the tests most certainly were carried out on the 18th, or prior to that. TotalBiscuit did say that several, small patches were released very, very late; just a couple of days before release, so I think it's safe to assume that we're right about the cause of those dreadful FPS figures.

The release-version has been working terrific. TB did say that there are a few, small areas that are very heavy on the GPU (because of the nature of those areas; not because of bugs/bad optimization), but I havn't experienced any noticeable FPS drops anywhere at all.

By the way, who else here is playing Absolution?
