At least you're getting response from the manufacturer...
GPU has been at the MSI service center for 6 weeks now. Not a single mail/update sent to me yet.
Never buying MSI again...
The only time I have really been able to hear the fans on my WFx3 HD 7950 was when I was playing around in MSI afterburner. The fans don't whine when they spin up either, you just hear this surge of wind blowing. Definitely wouldn't liken it to a jet engine like some other cards can be.

Surely the point of a warranty is that they foot all the bills because they fucked up the manufacturing or putting together?
So I posted this on Facebook and thought it was creative/silly enough to at least entertain a few of the less stiff among us. ;p
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 board on Newegg.com
It's $115 now? Fuck fuck fuck fuck. (For those unaware... in the US, the Z77 Extreme4 started around $150~ and quickly fell to $135, then a couple weeks ago to $125, now today I got in my email from Newegg it is down to $115, we'll see if it stays there.)
I think ASRock is being like this to Asus and the others:
ASRock: "lolz our board is duh best and you know eet. Everyone loves it and we're dropping the price EVEN FURTHER!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA"
Asus: "NOOOO WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!! HOW WILL WE MAKE A PROFIT?!?!!?! WE DESIRE 5,000% PROFIT TO BE MADE ON ALL PRODUCTS!!!! WTFFFF"
Gigabyte: "/sigh"
eVGA: "lol whatever, we can't get our motherboards out on time nor with proper colors. lol@TTL getting pink PCIe lanes on his SR-X!!!"
MSI: *explodes*
Biostar: "Don't think anyone cares about us, but we'll still make products because we THINK WE CAN WE THINK WE CAN!!!"
Intel: "God damn it, children, control yourselves. MSI, stop blowing up."
Has to be one of my more creative posts.
Lol
Side note:
For those interested, here's a live extreme overclocker from Brazil =]
He just broke the south american record and the 13th world record with a 3770k.

Behold, the new face of the MMO-C Computer forum.
red panda red panda red panda!
We should pester chaud to set up forum icons and have that one for the computer forum
*Gasp*
It's missing the stypid arrows! And no one told me!
Never really considered that as a viable option. Now upon more carefull inspection it seems to only be lacking display port for IGU and three way SLI support. Could work!
And the heatsinks are smaller.. Why did they have to be smaller.. /suspicious
Also, broke my computer forum chat thread virginity !
Congrats on your [Cherry: Popped!] Achievement!
I personally just view it as ASRock deems the higher you go, the more worthy you are of a more badass VRM/chipset heatsink.
Also, LOL@Asera. XD You rule.

Aaaaaand that was freaky as fuck. Sitting here, then all of a sudden, all the lights and my computer are cut off in the house and I heard a bit of thunder... or an explosion, off in the distance. Stuff came right back on, but freakin' awesome man, awesome.
I'm sure your PSU appreciated that surge/fluctuation.Aaaaaand that was freaky as fuck. Yeah, looking into a proper surge protector, too. I just can't afford anything extravagant atm. =/
Thinking this, as suggested by a friend who owns a couple:

Don't know what to say about the speccs for the GTX 660 Ti to be honest.
Launch at August 16th, identical to the GTX 670 except having a 192bit membus instead of 256bit.
Will cost closer to the GTX 670 than the HD7950 in Sweden.
What is a membus again? :C
When I think membus I'm imagining a bus full of RAM.
On another note, one of my friends who bought my entire rig for $2000 just told me his SSD & harddrive died the day I left to travel to Denmark, which is very weird since he haven't contactmed me in any-way.
He haven't been on Steam for 35 days, hmm. I don't want him to think I ripped him off & left laughing, since I hate that feeling.

Yes, it's that time of the life time again.
Contest time!
No actual prize, since I don't want Bibi to have another Talk with me. So only for funsies.
Rules::
- Tell me what kind of product I'm holding in my hand.
- Tell me what the products name/classification is. (IE, commonly acknowledged name)
- Tell me, if any, what company manufactures these. (IE, develops the tech)
- Tell me the sub-brand of the product. (IE, stickers)
- Tell me what the heck it is I'm wearing around my wrist and why it is green! (the colour-answer can be as silly as you like)
Bonus-points to anyone who knows what names the (2) cases in picture has.
(I'll see if I can give you the answer by Sunday)
