Out of curiosity: What sites do you guys use for component news? I know about the well known ones like www.anandtech.com, www.tomshardware.com, www.pcmag.com, www.techspot.com and www.overclock3d.net; and even some lesser known ones like www.techradar.com, www.geek.com and www.arstechnica.com.

So, do you guys know of any others?

Also I found this little treat by Razer...a usually hated company when they try to get "innovative" and spit out pieces of gimmicky overpriced garbage, but if there's one thing they can damn well is is turning that notion into IRONY!

it is nice to see razer getting out of the peripheral market, hopefully they will get away from their poorer QA standards with the Blade and their tablet

im not sure about the blade though, for $2800 you could probably get a pretty good macbook and put windows on it

Sometimes I have a hard time figuring out what you are actually allowed to talk about in all these forum threads....

But I mostly follow, not so much the rumours and stuff about upcoming stuff, but more like when the stores will actually have stuff for sale! Not that I don't lurk around for new stuff, but it seems more efficient to just figure out when it will actually be out, rather than guesstimating all the time

what i was posting, was a prevention to the inevitable "you're good with computers? can you fix mine?" posts, that way we dont end up with a reverse of the problem that sourced this thread, which was OT discussion in the Post your gaming setup thread, instead we will have computer help related questions interfering with the OT discussion (hows that for irony)

Just wondering how needed this whole junction point thing is, because I really can't make it work
Also stuff like drivers and such do I have to place them on the SSD or can I place them on a storage drive?

They're only needed if your OS is having a problem finding the items, for example, when I had Steam on my SSD but some of my games on my HDD, I had to create junctions for them in the SteamApps folder.

Honestly though, like Cyanotical said, I think it's time to make a thread in the Computer Forum.
