^ Naaah, that's bullshit. I'm on Ultra at 1920x1200 using a stock 7950 and I average at the very least 70 fps, it never dips below 60.

That doesnt sound right. I wonder whether it'll utilize crossfire properly.

After installing the game, I had to download an additional ~1.9 GB. It's very possible that the benchmarks were done before that "patch" was released, and that the "patch" fixed it.

I believe TotalBiscuit actually spoke of this. The game should be running quite fluently, aside from very specific locations that showed FPS tanking.

he also mentioned something about low fps due to steam overlay on a preview build. dont know if those benchamarks are from that though but i guess it could be possible

I checked GameGPU and it turned out that the picture is from a thread posted on the 19th, which means that the tests most certainly were carried out on the 18th, or prior to that. TotalBiscuit did say that several, small patches were released very, very late; just a couple of days before release, so I think it's safe to assume that we're right about the cause of those dreadful FPS figures.

The release-version has been working terrific. TB did say that there are a few, small areas that are very heavy on the GPU (because of the nature of those areas; not because of bugs/bad optimization), but I havn't experienced any noticeable FPS drops anywhere at all.

By the way, who else here is playing Absolution?

    What...
It's made by Razer, must be legit.

But in all seriousness, I can't blame Razer for trying to help their fanbase...a program which does what any sensible person will already know how to do will be very much appreciated, I'm sure.

I think they over-PR its usefulness, but I must admit that the concept is sound - albeit not new.
Thumbs up if it works as well as it potentially could.

I see a major flaw in that software:

If it closes Chrome while I'm playing, how am I supposed to watch movies while raiding?

    Stupid software is stupid.

It's 'useful' perhaps for people who are not computer-savvy, the concept is there at least but the voice-over really made me laugh lol.

Geez that's one serious guy. I was talking about how he was 'over-hyping' it so to speak but I cant deny that he's really good at that.

Then you should see his very own facebook fanpage, whenever there's a problem with Razer (ie. Synapse 2.0) he instantly makes a long post to make thousands of people bandwagon with him

Gamebooster is in no way a new idea, and honestly it's a pitiful one for systems running silly amounts of RAM...

I'm certainly not there. Graphics programming exam coming up on Monday, been handing in assignments today and doing a presentation to top it off. So if I was to go there, I'd have to travel god knows how far using a rented car...
