    Z68 Extreme 3 back then, Z77 Extreme 4 now
ASRock sure do love price/performance and their all-black design tends to be the icing on the cake making it an easy pick.

Not everything is torn apart until I get my motherboard/replacement motherboard back. >_<

Even though I saw it on pictures before buying it, most reviews said it's a black PCB. No idea where that comes from. It's definitely brown. Dark enough not to really notice in the case unless the side is off, but still, I'd have preferred black.

@Deltrus: Bit offtopic, but grats on the job. What will the first paycheck buy? tech-wise.

Well excuuuUUUuuuse me for having my monitor set to higher contrast levels, I just assume dark brown PCB's look like black because of the lighting (or something) :S

Still, ASRock low/midrange boards look better than Gigabyte/MSI/Asus low/midrange boards!

Agreed! But that's just me not liking the blue color they all so often use. Loving the dark and yellow color scheme on mine. Shame it isn't black really, but meh, whatevs.

Bahhhh. It isn't off-topic to congratulate someone on a job in a chat zone thread like this. :P ^_^ Thanks!

First pay check probably won't buy anything, I'm just hoping I get my motherboard back/hear from Asus before too long, however I've mentally prepared myself to have to invest in a new SSD/mobo/PSU, though all 3 are under warranties, so I shouldn't have to. SSD though because I'd like another, I have games on HDDs because my SSD is too small, I do love it though nonetheless.

At the same time I want to buy a GTX Titan. Hahaha

Today was my first 8 hour shift, not too bad. Really chilled out managers, this is gooood.

Man I think it's time I moved out of this shift-based job and find something with regular business hours, I am seriously missing being part of guilds/clans in many games and have basically turned into a lone wolf when it come to multiplayer games.

Aaaah, beautiful indeed. Judging by that price they'll probably own my SP2500's :S

(I would've bought them in black to suit your other components though, the white ones look very Mac-esque :P)

The black ones did have a plasticy matt-black finish. I really didn't like the looks.
There was also bamboo, but it had a 2week delivery time, and Bamboo actually has a worse bass-response in regard to MDF. And the bamboo was 50 euro more expensive.
I don't mind that they stand out a bit. Cause they also sound the part
But i think these were indeed designed to fix next to macs.

EDIT: It is pretty apparent you need to make different profiles for different music. A good EQ and Crossover functionality are key to these speakers. Running these off onboard solutions is a felony.

Mac-esque would mean there would be no black parts.
