Meant to write consumerism.
LOL MSI removed that video.

Yeah I never got to watch it. So how hot was the girl exactly?
A 1300W PSU...
... yeah
The audio wasn't synced properly.
She never grounded herself either.
So far in my process of going from ATX to ITX, I've made back the cost of the case, motherboard, and video card in parting out and selling components of this machine, as well as an old decommissioned server I don't need.
red panda red panda red panda!
Wow, that vid... It felt like I was watching four different videos at a time. The music seemed unrelated to the video. Audio was blatantly redubbed over the girl to a point of complete disconnect with reality. Her presence seemed completely unrelated to the PC building...
She was there for the cleavage shots. Maybe also to try and dispel the (often well-grounded) assumption that bimbos chosen for their chest size more than anything else can't do anything that requires a bit of thinking.
But she was mostly in the video because she has big tits.
I realize, which is why it seems so incredibly disconnected from the content itself. It was a universally terrible video is all I'm saying. If it was muted it'd be about a terrible video of pandering. Add in the music and audio and it becomes a 12 year old editing his first video and somehow selling it to Warner Bros as if it were a triple-A release, despite being the quality of a dog turd.
Maybe MSI was wanting to say that they are an equal opportunities employer that doesn't mind if people haven't had dental surgery?
Amen.
It's like I said earlier, the people behind the advert must be genuinely retarded. Also I have a funny feeling that the people behind this most likely nothing to do with MSI's tech department. The guys who actually research/design and manufacture the hardware are most likely fucking embarrassed by the advert as well. I sure as hell would be if I worked in MSI's engineering line.
It is said that the idea-guys in marketing typically float a good 3 feet above the grounds of logic/reason and other departments try to pretend they have nothing to do with them :P (no offense to anyone in marketing here!). If you're going to have a team dedicated to bringing ANY kind of attention to a product, you're going to see a lot of weird shit getting put across :S

I think the fact that MSI pulled the video says something about how bad it was.
A bit of progress with my SSD, by miracle or higher power it's now being recognized through my external dock.. I've run scans on it and it seems that everything is fine, Gonna try installing windows on it tomorrow, wish me luck!

Pfff installing windows doesn't require luck, it's all about skillz.
I can memorize the entire CD key and type it out without having to look at it again, only took me 5 attempts to get it correct last time. Beat that.
