Horde to ally ration on Tich, please help

Hey guys, me and my friends have recently decided to start playing wow together. I told them we should pick a pvp server that has a nice ratio. Since i allready have an 85 on tich, i naturally suggested we play on tich. However, i am a little concrned that the ratio is messed up. This concerns me, beacsue we want to enjoy pvp while questing. I found this a ratio stat that says Tich has a .79/1 horde to alliance ratio

It means that for every 100 horde the is, thers also 79 allys.

OP: Derpfried almost had it right. It means that there are 79 Horde characters for every 100 Alliance characters. However, keep in mind that most of the time, these ratios take into account if the character is level 85 and if the character has cleared certain content.

Just wanted to share this but for the server Tichondrius that the OP mentioned (http://wow.realmpop.com/us-tichondrius.html) it is 83,876 Alliance characters and 58,097 horde characters.

Nice website, interesting lists/charts . A little off topic possibly but I rarely saw horde while leveling alts on Tich ally side, mainly saw 85s doing archaeology that wanted to kill me most of the time.

Tichondrius become an alliance server when top pvp kelthuzad guilds transferred overe there. It's still a server filled with the most trolls on both sides, I recommend never going there.

I am not sure that site is altogether accurate; it says there are 19,000 Horde and over 38,000 Alliance on my server yet the Horde have been dominate since day one, they held all PVP areas in BC 90% of the time, Alliance rarely won WG and rarely wins TB today. If the numbers are correct the odds would steeply favor the exact opposite.

Besides that, if you were to go on my server today, either side, you would swear only a few hundred if that could possibly be playing on it.

Keep in mind that the results from the realmpop site will take into account alts and inactive characters.
