I don't believe EA or Bioware hold the rights for Baldur's Gate. I believe it's Atari who holds both Baldur's Gate IP rights and DnD license.

Whatever it is, looks like they WAY underestimated the level of interest. 17 minutes after the timer ran out, and so far I'm getting timeouts and one 500 error.
