This point is rather opinionated. Plenty of people like the endings and still love the series, plenty of people don't like the endings and still love the series, and plenty of people don't like the endings and are now don't like the rest of the series. And there's some inbetween who're just waiting for the DLC. In the megathread alone there's quite a few people unhappy with how the game turned out, and yet many of them are playing the whole trilogy over again, just because the overall series is that damn good. The ending isn't everything, especially not when we get "something" extra in a few months. Plus they have singleplayer DLC planned for a whole year after the Extended Cut. It wouldn't surprise me if the last piece would somehow be post-ending in one way or another.
