Just want to add to my post earlier..the eyepatch shows up as black on the wowhead viewfinder but is red in game:

For weapons, I'm thinking of going simple. I found a nice plain, black quarterstaff that goes well with the darker outfit I'm planning on (still need to find one that's actually moggable). Mogging with the endgame über-staves with the moving parts and dragon skulls and flames and crap just doesn't fit with the idea of the monk, IMO. I was going through stuff in the Model Viewer last night, and none of it looked any good.

I'm considering the eyepatch, and will probably do that quest in Netherstorm just to make sure I have it, but at this point I'm only really thinking of the straw hat, depending on how well it goes with the rest of the outfit.

Looks brown to me but I'd have to see it in game. Actually I hope it is brown because it would be a better match for my rogue's mog set than his current eyepatch :P

My monks name is going to be Mako after one of the main characters in The Legend of Korra. I tried my hardest to get as close to the Fire Ferret's gear as I could and ended up with this.

That's pretty awesome. My monk is going to be named Korra. I like your idea.

The weapons are from Tempest Keep: The Eye - Talon of the Phoenix and Claw of the Phoenix. The other pieces of equipment seem to be models from vanilla and/or Burning Crusade.

I can't give any recommendations for a staff.

I have been thinking about rolling a monk since I got into some of their lore questing. This is a deal breaker, is there are a list or a way to make a fairly decent shado-pan monk transmog set?
