This might be what I use. I like the open-toed boots.

Here's what I gathered while leveling through Swamp of Sorrow and other level 50+ zones... the staff is the one you can buy from justice quatermaster in Quel Danas.

Belt and gloves are not a fit, it seems I sold them =(

Still trying to find something of my own.

I used this set to transmog my gear in the beta. It's the 40(ish) leather questing set.
I find it fits the pandas quite well !

Clic on the link on my post, you will find the list.
The quickest way to have all part is to do the quests that provide some of them in the eastern Plaguelands (once you have traveled once with fiona and done several quests there you should be done) and get the two missing parts in the zone under Loch Modan (I forgot the name in English. I think it's Badlands but I'm not sure).

    Hope that helps !

    @Yorgl

Finished making my xmog set and we actually made the exact same except i've been trying to decided between the sets helm or cursed vision. Rolling orc monk and the sets helm looks like one of those cones a dog wears around its neck so it doesn't bite at stitches.

Just to decide on a good cloak and weapon for the set now..

    ---------- Post added 2012-04-19 at 03:42 AM ----------

Heres a alternate colour i made at the moment I havn't found any leg pieces that match or boots but on a troll they can pull off the current boots fairly well I think, Also unable to find good duel wielding maces

Basic but the simplicity is great, Atleast I think so. Also on the offhand wowheads 3D viewer displays the lighting effect as that box.... May have to go Troll now looking at this.

This is my set for my Tauren Monk. My logic behind a tauren monk is that he is like a Brave (tauren guards, they used spears and wear light armor) or a hunter. It is also inspired entirely by Brave Storming Sky in Taunka'le Village in Borean Tundra:

(hopefully that should work, if not the set is basically the Pygmy green quality leather set bar head, with a Prospector's Cloak, an Icier Barbed Spear, and an Earthen Ring tabard)

This here is Brave Storming Sky, which it is based upon: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=26766

P.S: Tweak the model viewer to have a male Tauren for the armor set.

Theres an Orc Blademaster I made. All slots acounted for bar wrists helm and cloak (because the wrists don't really matter, and the helm and cloak can be hidden, although I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally wish that Monk T14's hat didn't exist. Those warbeads would be perfect.

And the wording at the end of your post confused me a little. Not sure if your not sure if Monks can use only staves or only polearms, but they can use both.

I meant I'm not sure what weapon is best for each spec.
Like with hunters: we COULD use double daggers, swords or 2h sword, only we DON'T because they don't suit us stat-wise

From an item set standpoint these were my favorite possibilities so far for a female Pandaren. Haven't tried to put any mix and match sets together yet.

Embrace of the Viper (Wailing Caverns): http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=890
    Feralheart Raiment (Darkmoon Fair): http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=530
    Imposing Garb(Random Drops): http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=146
    Telhamat Armor(BC Quests): http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=1190#.

The four elements, like man alone, are weak. But together they form the strong fifth element: Boron.

It's one handed in Mists, meaning you can mog it to both main- and off-hand if you use fist weapons in both.

This is what I've created for my mistweaver monk. I was flipping through mogit and thought those shoulders were perfect because of the jade greenish color. Dunno if I'll actually use that helm haha, it looks a little silly on a female panda.

Wouldn't this go in the shaman thread then?
