Gonna agree with this. There's been a lot of discussion over these pages about how good Korra is compared to A:TLA. You need to take a step back and see them as two different shows, not something one in the same. Korra continues some many years in the future, tons of things are different and things seem to happen a bit faster.

Now that Korra isn't going to be an attempted mini series, I can see the writers going balls out with it and easily making it comparable to TLA.

I'm hoping for this as well.
I mean I did like the first book of Korra, but it was extremely fast paced as far as story went, and a lot was crammed into very little time. I hope they take the time to breathe now that they know that have the ability to do so.

i just thought of something earlier. if we are supposed to be finding out who Lin's daddy is, then maybe they might be reintroducing that guy from the comics that was supposed to be her love interest? (i think his name was ohev or something?)

WTB confirmation. It should be advertised to hell and back. I know the producer said it's mid-April but that's still pretty ambiguous for how close "mid" April is.

I read it on Facebook, it was an article trending with one of the lead developers, but don't take this as holy gospel.

I'll ask you guys since you might already know: Has there been any news of a dvd release? I wanted to rewatch Korra but I want to buy it on dvd also so I thought I'd wait for that instead of streaming it again.

I've heard somewhere about a DVD release, can't recall where though.

There was a leaked promo for one, but other than that i haven't heard anything. I want it.

That rumor was shot down shortly after it arose. I believe they are aiming it at Fall 2013 now.

A recent update to the Legend of Korra episodes on Hulu introduces an intro that states "Legend of Korra returning to Nickelodeon, Summer 2013". Although this is not an exact date, it's great to have a little insight to when it will be released!

This is the way I view it, Nickelodeon is just keeping it at Fall 2013 because it's a placeholder, for all we know it could release in June or July. I don't think it will be Fall, it's too late and here's the funny thing, the voice actors have already stated the Book 2 is completely finished (even the animation) and that they are working on Book 3 already. Nickelodeon will decide when they want to release it, not the writers.
