You need to rename the file to "World of Warcraft Beta Setup.exe" after downloading, otherwise you get an error.

i clicked the EU link and came up with an error when i tried installing

My download gets stuck at 10%, though it still says it's downloading at 70 KB/s. Anyone knows a fix?

I got this error saying i cant donwload some file so i renamed installer to "world of warcraft beta setup.exe" and then it worked fine.

the next rage is already showing up on the WoW forums from those that live in like Assuieland and NZ and have very redistricted bandwidth downloads....they are getting upset about maybe not being able to download the 17G file and want to just copy over the MoP part of the file....I told the poster you should of thought about that before signing up for the AP...you knew ahead of time how restrictive your bandwidth is and how you have to plan out when updates to WoW are coming out when not to stream stuff or download other stuff ahead of time.

Be warned now if you live in a area that has restrictive bandwidth download this file is 17G big now its a full install not just a addon to your original game files....

Mine stopped at 10% but I just waited and finally it started to pop over and gain more....have to remember now tons of folks are downloading off these few sites listed so downloads will slow down and its dependent on your download speed too of your ISP.

ALWAYS!! Run Blizzard downloaders as Adminstrator. It solves 90% of the issues.

Also Try disabling P2P and enabling it to see if there is any difference in the DL speed.(I had only 200kb/s at one point, turned P2P off and went to 1.2MB/s)

Quick question on this download of the beta installer....I am at 20% but I like to get into my normal game and If I try to download the beta installer and play wow my normal game will lag like crazy...can I stop the download at say 20% I have now then when I go to bed start it right back up the 20% mark and have it download more as I sleep?

Maybe I should've said that I already did that :P

Downloading via 3g atm, since the ports are blocked at school, that's why it's that slow. 27 KB/s now and dropping. P2P on or off doesn't seem to make a difference. Hopefully my other PC will have the download done when I get home, copying is still faster than this.
