Destruction PvP?

I was just wondering if destruction is viable in just BG's or the occasional arena? I heard it can put out some good burst if healers don't cleanse off immolate. I'd mostly just be messing around in BG's with friends. I'm affliction now, but destro looks like fun to play. Thanks for the help.

its fine for unrated bgs, probably better then affliction actually seeing as how you can kite a bit better and kill someone quickly. However demo is also just as good as it and probably a tad bit better.

Personally I like tossing on pve gear with 21 mastery queing for wsg/tp as demo, grab zerking power up pop moonwell chalice and meta and just laugh when I one shot someone.

Destro is my favorite spec but honestly just stay affliction, its much better and affliction is one of the best (if not the best) pvp specs in the game, especially if you are paired up with a resto shaman. Destro For PVE though!!!
