Free program similar to Microsoft Publisher? Help please!

Hello,

I have to make a flier for one of my classes at school. The campus computers used to have Microsoft Publisher on them, but they must not have renewed the license as it is no longer installed. This really puts me in a bind, since that was my go to program. Anyone have a suggestion for a program that isn't too difficult to operate and could be used to make a kick-ass flier? Free please, I don't have any money, poor college student =P
