The navy is the only of the three that can fight in air on ground or at sea with any real effectiveness.

Everyone that is picking the airforce as their first option MUST realize that it is only capable of operating because of a navy or an army.....
It is true however in an overall balanced modern military force, the airforce is the most powerful. But this super shitty topic is not about balance at all.

Battleships are obsolete ( artillery boat types).... last battleships that were used in modern war were Iowa class ships that were outfitted as glorified and inefficient cruisers/destroyers with missile techmology during the first gulf war in the early 90's.....
